The gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore sets the perfect backdrop for my interview with Sarah Vetter, the founder of Evergy Studio. Dressed in a forest green linen dress that complements the natural beauty around us, Sarah greets me with a warm smile and a genuine hug, immediately making me feel at ease.
Costa Rica, with its natural beauty, slower pace of life, and emphasis on well-being and sustainability, seems to be the perfect environment for Sarah’s practice. “Santa Teresa has become a special place for me,” she says, her passion for holistic healing evident in her voice. “The natural beauty and the emphasis on balanced well-being really aligns with my personal values and the principles of Evergy Studio.”
Sarah’s journey to creating her unique blend of reiki, inner child healing, and neurology is as inspiring as it is transformative. As a highly sensitive person with ADHD she has overcome severe depression, an eating disorder and negative coping patterns. She found that traditional therapies offered some relief but didn’t provide lasting change, and developed a passion for exploring alternative healing methods. Working with inner child healing allowed her to address deep-rooted core beliefs from her youth, followed by the study of reiki and becoming a reiki master, which helped her connect with her energy and regulate emotions. Finally, she integrated neurological techniques, utilizing the brain’s natural ability to rewire itself. This combination not only transformed her life but also became the cornerstone of her practice.
Sarah’s approach to healing is deeply personal and comes from a place of genuine care and empathy. She describes the process as addressing early wounds and using the brain’s neuroplasticity to rewire negative core beliefs, creating profound and lasting change. “It empowers people to break free from their past and embrace their true potential,” she explains.
One particularly memorable success story from her practice involved a client who had struggled with severe anxiety and low self-esteem for years. Through sessions with Sarah, the client connected with her inner child and healed deep-seated traumas. Using reiki uniquely coupled with neurological techniques, they reframed her core beliefs, and her transformation was incredible. She went from feeling trapped and powerless to embracing her authentic self, and now fearlessly and confidently is pursuing her goals and dreams. “Stories like hers remind me why I do this work,” Sarah says, her face lighting up with pride and joy.
